Ryan P. Theriault

A founding partner of the St. Charles-based law firm Theriault Booth Attorneys at Law in Illinois, Ryan P. Theriault’s practice comprises nothing short of compassionate and fiery advocacy for those who have been injured due to no fault of their own. Whether hurt on the job or due to the reckless actions of a third party, he will fight to get the compensation his clients need to start their recovery and hold those accountable for their actions.

A Bachelor of Arts degree graduate of DePaul University, Mr. Theriault enrolled straight away at the DePaul University School of Law and received his Juris Doctor in 2007. The same year he graduated from law school, he obtained his license to practice in Illinois, and later, admission to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. In addition, years after graduating, a profile was written about him by his law school alma mater: “Success Stories from Alumni under 40.”

Before he found his calling for practicing law, Mr. Theriault worked for a police department in Chicago. This prior experience gave him a vested interest in representing police officers who were injured while serving their community. With this niche area of the law covered, he is also knowledgeable in taking on Big Pharma and the defective medicines that severely injure innocent people. One of his most successful cases involved clients who took a defective diabetes medication and were awarded $2.4 billion for their pain and suffering.

Throughout his 15-year career, Mr. Theriault has been recognized by his peers and many prominent legal organizations for his work, including:

Additionally, he is a member of the American Association for Justice and the Workers’ Injury Law and Advocacy Group. He is also a big believer in educating the public and his peers in a variety of matters pertaining to workers’ compensation and personal injury law and has authored articles and presented at continuing legal education seminars on the same.
