Favaro focuses his practice exclusively on labor and employment law litigation. Serving as the president and managing partner of Favaro & Gorman, Ltd., he has achieved notable success advocating on behalf of employees who experienced issues related to:

A 1983 B.A. political science graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University, Mr. Favaro attended Valparaiso University Law School, where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 1986. He is also a graduate of the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyer's College, and he received certification as a trial advocate from the National Institute for Trial Advocacy as well as a certification in mediation from the Illinois State Bar Association. Furthermore, he holds a master’s degree in biblical studies and an LL.M. from the University of Aberdeen School of Law.

Upon earning his legal degree, Mr. Favaro received his license to practice from the Illinois State Bar Association in 1986. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Active in his legal community, Mr. Favaro has served the Northwest Suburban Bar Association in various capacities, including as a president, vice president, treasurer, secretary and the chair of its Employment Law and Budget Committees. He was a committee chair for the McHenry County Bar Association and is a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America. He is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.

In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Favaro functions as an adjunct legal professor at William Rainey Harper College, and he conducts lectures and continuing legal education seminars across the country on a variety of topics related to employment law. Committed to giving back to his local community, he is active in a number of local charitable organizations and his church.
