Prior to founding her own law firm, Ms. Martell served as a clerk at multiple family law firms in the Chicago area and as an extern for a Cook County domestic relations judge. She volunteered at the Circuit Court of Cook County Domestic Violence Courthouse and with the DePaul College of Law Family Law Field Clinic. She is a graduate of The Chicago Bar Foundation’s Justice Entrepreneurs Project, developing and growing her family law practice.
Involved in her legal community, Ms. Martell is a member of The Chicago Bar Association, the DuPage County Bar Association, the Kane County Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. She is a fellow in the Illinois Bar Foundation and a former volunteer with the National Association of Women Judges Annual Conference.
