Patrick B. Hurley holds the position of senior director within the litigation group at the Huck Bouma law firm. His primary work location is in the Wheaton, Illinois, office, but the firm also has other offices in Naperville, Oak Lawn and Elgin, all within Illinois. Mr. Hurley's legal practice serves clients in both Illinois and Massachusetts, and it encompasses a wide range of areas, including:

Mr. Hurley has successfully represented clients in various mediation and arbitration hearings and has extensive experience in advocating for both individuals and businesses. Prior to joining Huck Bouma in 2000, he practiced law in the Boston, Massachusetts, area, where he handled various legal matters such as civil litigation, divorce, criminal defense and appellate practice.
Beyond his legal practice, Mr. Hurley has played a prominent role in the DuPage County Bar Association. He has served on the Board of Directors, chaired different committees and held the position of president during the term 2013-14. Mr. Hurley has also taken on the responsibility of being the president of The Robert E. Jones American Inns of Court.
Mr. Hurley's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College in 1990, where he majored in political science and philosophy. He later earned his Juris Doctor degree from Boston College Law School in 1993. During his time in law school, Mr. Hurley gained practical experience at the Boston College Legal Assistance Bureau as a student attorney and also worked as a clerk in the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Massachusetts during the summers.
Regarding his bar admissions, Mr. Hurley is admitted to practice law in several jurisdictions, including the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the Supreme Court of Illinois. He is an active member of various professional associations, including the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice and the DuPage County Chapter Justinian Society of Lawyers.
For his outstanding contributions and service, Mr. Hurley has received the DuPage County Bar Association’s Board of Directors Award for Outstanding Service in both 2005 and 2008. Additionally, he holds a "Superb" rating on Avvo and has been honored with the esteemed AV Preeminent* peer-review rating through Martindale-Hubbell.
