Richard J. Dvorak is the founder of Dvorak Law Offices, LLC. Upon his graduation, Mr. Dvorak joined the Law Office of the Cook County Public Defender, where he gained significant bench and jury trial experience before entering private practice.

Admitted to practice before all Illinois state courts, Mr. Dvorak is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States. Fluent in Spanish, he is a member of the legal advisory board of First Defense Legal Aid, a Chicago-based nonprofit organization that provides free legal assistance to people who are in police custody. He is also a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National Police Accountability Project.
