Dorie Maryan

Attorney Dorie Maryan is the founder of Maryan Law, LLC, in Bargersville, Indiana. A solo practitioner, Ms. Maryan devotes her practice exclusively to criminal defense. She handles complex criminal matters involving drug crimes, DUI, sex crimes and various other crimes from misdemeanors to serious felonies. She serves clients in Indianapolis and throughout the surrounding areas.

Ms. Maryan has nearly two decades of litigation experience. For the past 11 years, she has dedicated her practice exclusively to criminal defense. She understands the traumatic impact an arrest or criminal charge often has on an individual and their family, and she works tirelessly to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved.

Over the course of her career, Ms. Maryan has litigated numerous cases ranging from domestic violence to murder. Her successful results led to recognition as a “top 100 trial lawyer” by The National Trial Lawyers in 2014.

Before founding her own firm in 2013, Ms. Maryan practiced as a partner at an Indiana-based law firm. In addition to running her firm, she serves as a panel public defender for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana and a part-time public defender in Hendricks County, Indiana. She is involved in her legal community and an active member of the Indianapolis Bar Association.

Ms. Maryan earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and received her law degree from Indiana University Maurer School of Law. She obtained her license to practice law in 2000, which made her eligible to appear before all Indiana state courts.
