Matthew Boulton

Matthew Boulton is the founder and sole attorney at Boulton Law Group, LLC. From the firm's offices in Brownsburg, Indiana, he provides representation to clients throughout the Indianapolis metropolitan area and across the state who have been harmed by others’ negligent actions. In addition to litigation involving motor vehicle accidents, he handles personal injury and wrongful death cases dealing with premises liability, animal bites and nursing home abuse.

After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Indiana University Bloomington in 1993, Mr. Boulton went on to attend Drake University Law School. While there, he served as an article editor for the Drake Journal of Agricultural Law before being awarded his Juris Doctor in 1996. 

Prior to opening his own firm in the last month of 2014, Mr. Boulton was the head of the litigation department of a well-known plaintiffs’ personal injury law firm. Admitted to practice in Indiana and Michigan, he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana and the Supreme Court of the United States.  

Throughout his career, which spans more than two and a half decades, Mr. Boulton has been able to obtain several sizable settlements and verdicts on behalf of his clients. As a result, he is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a group that is limited to lawyers who have obtained seven-figure or greater awards and settlements. He has also received an AV Preeminent* peer-review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and is rated “Very Good” on Avvo. 

Mr. Boulton is a member of a variety of legal organizations, including the American Association for Justice, the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, the Indiana State Bar Association and the Indianapolis Bar Association. He is also an active participant in the Rotary Club of Brownsburg and the Central Indiana Chapter of the Indiana University Alumni Association.
