The founder and managing attorney of Adams Immigration Law, LLC, Angela D. Adams, is a renowned and trusted immigration attorney in Indiana. Representing clients from the firm’s office in Carmel, she and her team assist employers, universities, and individuals in and around Carmel and Indianapolis with their immigration issues including employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visas, humanitarian and family-based immigration, and immigration options for international students and scholars..
Well-versed in the country’s immigration law, Ms. Adams understands the complicated nature of the system, recognizing the emotional distress it inflicts on an individual. Striving to alleviate the burden off their shoulders, she takes charge of the entire legal process, from collecting and filing documents to advocating for their rights in the courts, offering guidance throughout.
A native of Indiana, Ms. Adams pursued her undergraduate studies at Indiana University Bloomington, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in SPEA public affairs management. In 2000, she enrolled in the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law-Indianapolis and obtained her doctorate in jurisprudence in 2004. She obtained her bar license to practice law in Indiana in 2004.
Right after graduating, Ms. Adams joined a renowned firm in Indianapolis as an associate attorney and later assumed the role of equity partner. She stayed there for nearly a decade before serving as an associate general counsel for immigration at her alma mater.
