Annette L. Rutkowski

Annette Lee Rutkowski is a passionate Social Security Disability attorney committed to protecting the rights of her clients. With her initial experience as a volunteer for physically and cognitively impaired people, she has developed great compassion for those who need additional assistance. She has experience in all aspects of disability law, including initial applications and hearings, federal appeals, long-term disability and dependency and indemnity compensation. 

Her firm, the Law Office of Annette Rutkowski LLC, accepts clients throughout western, southern and central Indiana. She is also accredited as a veteran’s attorney by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs and has represented numerous veterans’ disability claimants.

Extensively practicing law in the state of Indiana for more than two decades, Ms. Rutkowski has handled thousands of hearings and appeals in federal and state courts. She prides herself on being a caring and empathetic attorney, who is highly accessible to clients and works tirelessly to prepare a strong case to get results in court.

After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in public justice from the State University of New York at Oswego in 1981, Ms. Rutkowski earned her Juris Doctor from the Indiana University Bloomington Maurer School of Law in 2001. 

Ms. Rutkowski currently serves as chair of the Social Security Section of the Indiana State Bar Association and is an active member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives, the American Bar Association, the National Organization of Veterans' Advocates, Inc. and the National Association of Women Lawyers.
