Annette L. Rutkowski

Annette L. Rutkowski is a passionate Social Security Disability attorney who is committed to protecting the rights of her clients. With initial experience as a volunteer for physically and cognitively impaired people, Ms. Rutkowski has developed great compassion for those who need additional assistance than what they are able to provide for themselves. She has experience in all aspects of disability law, including initial applications and hearings, federal appeals, veterans benefits, long-term disability and dependency and indemnity compensation. Her firm, the Law Office of Annette Rutkowski, accepts clients throughout western, southern and central Indiana.

Ms. Rutkowski prides herself as a caring attorney who is highly accessible to clients, and works tirelessly to prepare a strong case to get results in court. Having participated in thousands of hearings, Ms. Rutkowski has a reputation for not giving up on tough cases. She is known as a respected leader and speaker in her field, having spoken locally and internationally on various disability law topics.

After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in public justice from the State University of New York at Oswego, Ms. Rutkowski earned her Juris Doctor from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in the state of Indiana.

Ms. Rutkowski has been accredited by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as a veteran's attorney. She currently serves as chair of the Social Security section for the Indiana State Bar Association, and is an active member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives. She also belongs to the American and Indianapolis bar associations, the National Organization of Veterans' Advocates, the National Association of Women Lawyers and the National Disability Lawyers Network.
