Christine Douglas is a founding partner at the law firm Keating Douglas, LLP, which has its offices in Carmel, Indiana. Focusing her practice on helping families, she represents clients who are going through a divorce or dealing with any other family law-related matter, including custody modifications, adoptions, grandparent visitation, guardianships and paternity.
Ms. Douglas is well known for the compassionate and empathetic support she provides to her clients. She serves as a zealous and tireless advocate for the rights and freedom of her clients. She handles all her cases efficiently, both inside and outside the courtroom. She is also a registered domestic mediator, helping people resolve issues in a less contentious and cost-effective manner.
In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Douglas serves as a parenting coordinator and a guardian ad litem regularly, through which she has gained invaluable insight and experience. Having obtained her bachelor’s degree from Purdue University, she earned her Juris Doctor from the Valparaiso University School of Law. She is licensed to practice in the state of Indiana
Ms. Douglas is board-certified by the Family Law Certification Board of the Indiana State Bar Association as a specialist in family law. She also lectures frequently to students as well as to fellow attorneys. She attended the Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute program of the American Bar Association and completed it.
An enthusiastic affiliate of the legal community, Ms. Douglas is a member of the American Bar Association’s Family Law Section and the Indiana State Bar Association’s Family Law Section. She also serves as the family law chair, the ADR chair and the Women in Law chair for the Indianapolis Bar Association. Additionally, she is the vice president, Program chair and Membership chair of the American Inns of Court: Sagamore Inn.
Volunteering her time and skill to those who need it the most, Ms. Douglas is a part of Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Indianapolis Legal Aid Society and Operation Standby, which deals with providing legal help to those in the military. Recognized for her legal services, she has received an AV* Preeminent peer-review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and a 10/10 rating on Avvo.
