Kena Hollingsworth is an attorney and a founding partner of Hollingsworth & Zivitz Attorneys at Law in Carmel, Indiana. Ms. Hollingsworth represents clients throughout Indiana in family law matters. She has experience at the trial and appellate level with cases involving divorce, child support, custody, military divorce, paternity, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and more.

In addition to litigation experience, Ms. Hollingsworth is trained in alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and collaborative divorce. She has received a great deal of recognition in the family law field, and has been featured on Indiana-based radio and television programs. Author of the blog "Happy Divorce" she has also spoken on family law topics at a variety of seminars and conferences, and has been named to the prestigious list of one of "Indianapolis' Forty Under 40" as well as one of Indy's  “Best and Brightest” by the Indianapolis Business Journal.

Ms. Hollingsworth has always been actively involved in her legal and professional communities. She provides volunteer services to various groups and has served on the Board of Directors of nonprofit organizations such as Girls Nite In, the Indiana Chapter’s FBI Citizens Academy, Peoples Burn Foundation of Indiana Inc. and The Salvation Army.

Ms. Hollingsworth belongs to several local legal organizations, including Bar Associations for Indianapolis, Hamilton County, Boone County, Hendricks County, as well as the Indiana State Bar Association. She also belongs to national groups such as the American Bar Association and the National Association of Women Lawyers.

Ms. Hollingsworth holds bachelor’s degrees from the University of Southern Indiana in English, Spanish and international business, where she attended school on a full athletic scholoarship for tennis.  After graduating magna cum laude, she went on to earn her law degree from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and has been admitted to practice law since 2002.
