    Attorney Rebecca W. Geyer handles a variety of legal matters in elder law and related subjects, including estate planning and administration, guardianships, veterans benefits and business law with her law firm, Rebecca W. Geyer & Associates, PC. Certified as a specialist by the Indiana State Bar Association's Trust & Estate Specialty Board, she has said she adopts a compassionate approach to help people as they contemplate emotionally and often technically difficult matters in this area of the law. She represents clients in Carmel, Indiana, and surrounding areas of central Indiana, including Marion, Hamilton, Boone, Hendricks, Howard, Johnson and Morgan counties.

    A graduate of Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, Ms. Geyer also teaches elder law as an adjunct professor at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis.

    Over the course of her career, Ms. Geyer has received quite a bit of recognition in the legal community. Among other awards she has received, she was honored by the Indianapolis Bar Association in 2013 for her dedication and excellence in legal education. In 2014, she was recognized by the Indianapolis Business Journal as one of the notable individuals under the age of 40 who are making a difference in their communities, in 2016 she was named Elder Law Attorney of the Year by the Indiana Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and in 2018 she was again recognized by the Indianapolis Bar Association for her work with its Practice Builder Program.

    An active participant in local and national professional and community organizations, Ms. Geyer has served in leadership roles for the Indiana chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Indianapolis Bar Association and the Indianapolis Bar Foundation, among other groups.
