Erin E. Bauer

Attorney Erin E. Bauer is a partner at Barber & Bauer, LLP, in Evansville, Indiana. Ms. Bauer practices in the areas of employment litigation, estate administration, family law, labor law, trust administration and general litigation. She serves clients throughout the Evansville region.

Born and raised in Posey County, Indiana, Ms. Bauer earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Southern Indiana and received her law degree from Indiana University Maurer School of Law. While pursuing her law degree, she participated in the law school’s domestic relations mediation clinic and became certified as a domestic relations mediator. She was also the staff editor for the Federal Communications Law Journal.

Ms. Bauer obtained her license to practice law in 2008, which made her eligible to appear before all Indiana state courts. She is also qualified to appear before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit. Upon becoming a licensed attorney, she began practicing as an associate at Barber & Bauer, LLP. She became a partner of Barber & Bauer, LLP, in 2011.

Over the course of her career, Ms. Bauer has successfully argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit and tried numerous cases. In addition, one of her decisions has been published and cited in various legal journals and court rulings.

Outside of running her law practice, Ms. Bauer is an active member of her legal community. She belongs to the Evansville Bar Association and the Indiana State Bar Association.
