Upon founding the Law Offices of Randall K. Craig, Mr. Craig made a commitment to assist clients through all aspects of the estate planning process. He assists clients in Evansville, Indiana and throughout the State who are facing elder law issues. His practice has helped countless older and disabled people receive the advice and representation necessary to protect their best interests. Working with Mr. Craig means that clients will receive personalized attention through every phase of the process.
Mr. Craig has decades of experience with elder law issues. In addition to his practice, he also served as an adjunct professor of estate planning, real estate and income taxation at the University of Evansville. He was one of the first 55 attorneys in the country whom the National Elder Law Foundation certified as an elder law attorney. Further, the Indiana State Bar Association’s Trust & Estate Specialty Board has certified Mr. Craig as a trust and estate administration specialist. Mr. Craig is a charter member (the first and now one of only two Indiana members) of the Council of Advanced Practitioners ("CAP") of NAELA, which is available by invitation only to preeminent elder law attorneys.
For his accomplishments, Mr. Craig holds the highest rating possible of AV Preeminent* from Martindale-Hubbell, and he has been selected for inclusion with The Best Lawyers in America every year since 2009. He was recently honored by his peers by being named as the Best Lawyers’ 2017 Evansville Trust and Estates "Lawyer of the Year".
Admitted to practice in Indiana in 1975, Mr. Craig earned a Bachelor of Science and graduated with distinction in 1972 from Indiana University. He then received a Doctor of Jurisprudence, graduating cum laude from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
Today, Mr. Craig holds membership with the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Evansville Bar Association’s Probate, Elder Law and Guardianship Section, the Indiana State Bar Association’s Elder Law; Probate, Trust & Real Property; and Taxation sections, and the Beta Gamma Sigma international business school honor society.
