Chris Jeter

A stalwart advocate for his clients, Chris Jeter has gone above and beyond the call of duty to help them overcome their legal challenges without adding any more undue stress. From the law office of Massillamany Jeter & Carson LLP, in Fishers, Indiana, he primarily handles business and commercial law, including contract disputes, commercial litigation and organization planning, as well as real estate and estate planning. 

Mr. Jeter completed his undergraduate studies in 2001, graduating with his Bachelor of Arts degree in communications and media studies from Oklahoma Baptist University. He went on to attend The George Washington University Law School, helping bolster his legal foundation and strengthen his legal talents with the foresight of helping clients in the future. He received his Juris Doctor in 2005, and in the same year, he obtained his license to practice law in Indiana.

Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Jeter served in the United States Navy as a Judge Advocate General’s Corps Officer, holding numerous positions in various military commands, with the latest as a trial attorney for the United States Navy’s litigation office in Washington, D.C. He has converted his experience serving in the Armed Forces to help businesses grow and thrive today. Outside his legal practice, Mr. Jeter maintains membership in organizations such as the Indianapolis Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association (Military and Veterans’ Affair Committee), The District of Columbia Bar and the Hamilton County Indiana Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before all the federal district courts in Indiana, the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.
