Daniel B. Vinovich

Daniel B. Vinovich is a partner at the Hilbrich Law Firm, which has its offices located in Highland, Crown Point and Portage, Indiana. He concentrates his practice on personal injury, medical malpractice and wrongful death matters. With 34 years of experience in the field of law, he serves clients in Lake, Porter and LaPorte counties, and throughout Indiana. He also serves as a mediator and arbitrator on cases.

With a genuine concern for his clients, Mr. Vinovich serves as a zealous and fierce protector of their rights and liberties. He understands the consequences of being injured as a result of someone else’s reckless, ignorant and negligent actions, and he fights to bring them justice. He has obtained numerous favorable settlements and verdicts on his clients’ behalves.

With a bachelor’s degree in political science and history, Mr. Vinovich graduated from the Purdue University. He studied law at the Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington, and obtained his Juris Doctor in 1990. He is licensed to practice in Indiana and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. 

Mr. Vinovich is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, past President of the Indiana State Bar Association and Lake County Bar Association, and also holds memberships in the following legal associations:

Mr. Vinovich is currently appointed to the Indiana Supreme Court's Disciplinary Commission where he reviews complaints of ethical violations by attorneys. He  also is elected to and serves on the Indiana Judicial Nominating and Qualifications Commissions where he reviewed complaints of ethical violations by judges and reviews and interviews applicants to the Indiana Supreme Court, Court of Appeals and Tax Court.  

Honored for his noteworthy work in the legal field, Mr. Vinovich has received many accolades and recognition. He has received an AV Preeminent* peer-review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and has a “Superb” rating on Avvo. For his commitment to upholding civil justice, he was given the Indiana Trial Lawyer Association President's Award. Lake Superior Court has presented him an award for his pro bono work. He is named a Super Lawyer for 11 straight years.
