Bryan L. Ciyou is the president of the boutique law firm Ciyou & Associates, P.C., located in Indianapolis, Indiana. His reputation for effectively fighting difficult family law cases dates back nearly three decades. He litigates complex family law matters involving high-asset divorces, adoptions, disputed child custody matters, relocations, same-sex issues, protective orders, emancipations, spousal matters, pre- and postnuptial agreements, grandparent visitation and more. 

Mr. Ciyou has experience with domestic situations that are factually and legally complex, such as those involving parental abduction under the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction and those involving custody issues between several states. He also has extensive knowledge and experience in domestic situations involving clients who have mental health challenges, including narcissistic personality disorder and substance addiction issues. 

Reports of Mr. Ciyou's arguments before the Indiana Court of Appeals and the Indiana Supreme Court have had a significant impact on the development of Indiana law. He has appeared before the Indiana Supreme Court, the Indiana Court of Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit. He has also submitted a petition for certiorari to the Supreme Court of the United States. 

A B.A. graduate of the Indiana University-Indianapolis, Mr. Ciyou was placed on the deans list; served as the vice president of the student body; was a Rhodes’ Scholarship Nominee; and was inducted into the Delta Sigma Rho-Tau Kappa Alpha. In 1994, he graduated with his Juris Doctor cum laude from the same university. He earned his Indiana legal license the same year.
