Pursuing her strong commitment to advocacy for individuals, Courtney joined Betz + Blevins in November 2012 after graduating from law school. At Betz + Blevins, Courtney’s work has included representing clients in various administrative proceedings and litigation related to claims for age, gender, national origin, racial, and religious discrimination as well as harassment and retaliation. Courtney also has extensive experience in representing physicians, university professors, and corporate employees in employment contract as well as severance negotiations. Courtney’s work further includes representing clients in appealing disciplinary actions imposed by state licensing boards and litigation under Section 1983 related to these actions.
