Emily K. VanTyle

Emily K. VanTyle works as a personal injury attorney at the law firm of Wilson Kehoe Winingham in Indianapolis, Indiana. She serves clients throughout the state, helping them with various legal matters involving:

• Medical malpractice 
• Birth injury 
• Brain injury 
• Motor vehicle accidents 
• Trucking accidents
• Premises liability
• Product liability 

Graduating magna cum laude with her Juris Doctor from the Valparaiso University Law School in 2016, Ms. VanTyle was admitted to practice the same year in Indiana. She also holds a bachelor’s degree with a triple major in political science, Spanish and peace and conflict studies from Butler University (2013), where she graduated with honors and also won the Butler Peacemaker Award. 

During law school, Ms. VanTyle was a part of the honors program and the university’s law review. Due to her academic excellence, she was chosen to be the dean’s assistant during her 2nd and 3rd year. Furthermore, she was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Women's Legal Fraternity.

Before joining Wilson Kehoe Winingham, Ms. VanTyle worked for a prominent insurance defense law firm, where she gained valuable knowledge litigating many personal injury and civil rights cases. She tried many bench trials and worked on several cases in both state and federal courts. Working on the plaintiffs’ side in her current firm, she strives to use her vast legal acumen to get the justice and compensation her clients deserve. 

Maintaining an active presence in the legal community, Ms. VanTyle is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association and an executive board member of the Indianapolis Bar Association’s Women and the Law Division and Young Lawyers Division.
