    Passionate about representing parents who have dealt with an injured child or a child who has died because of a personal injury, he is also a Riley Society board member at the Riley Hospital for Children. Mr. Laker has taken on pain pump manufacturers for clients who developed chondrolysis from the insertion of a pain pump after shoulder surgery. Chondrolysis is a permanent painful condition that destroys the cartilage on both sides of a joint.

    At Indiana University in 1981, Mr. Laker earned a Bachelor of Science in business management, and he obtained a Juris Doctor from the Indiana University School of Law in 1984. He is also a certified family law mediator.
