Jeff Powless

Jeff Powless, the president of Powless Law Firm, P.C., is a dedicated legal professional with deep roots in Indiana. Born and raised in the state, he graduated from Purdue University before attending Indiana University Bloomington for law school. He earned his law degree and subsequently gained admission to both the Indiana and Texas bars.

Mr. Powless zealously serves patients and their families throughout Indiana from Indianapolis. He began his legal practice protecting hazardous chemical victims of soil and water pollution caused by an unlawful dumpsite. Inspired by his experience helping negligent victims, he shifted the focus to nursing home abuse and medical neglect. As lead trial attorney, he secured one of Texas’ most significant punitive damage ratio judgments for a physician’s negligence. A hospital was similarly held accountable in one of Rockwall County, Texas’ top judgments.
