Jennifer M. Lukemeyer

Jennifer M. Lukemeyer is a criminal defense attorney with Voyles, Vaiana, Lukemeyer, Baldwin & Webb in Indianapolis, Indiana. She represents adult and juvenile clients throughout the state who have been charged with crimes ranging from major felonies to misdemeanors, and she has defended clients accused of murder, robbery, sex offenses, drug offenses, drunk driving, domestic violence, forgery, gun offenses and white collar crime. In addition, she represents parents who are at risk of losing custody of their children and professionals who are facing revocation of their licenses.  She also represents students in Title IX investigations. Ms. Lukemeyer has been with the firm since 1997 and formerly worked as a public defender with the Marion County Public Defender Agency.

After graduating cum laude with a B.A. from the University of South Carolina in 1991, Ms. Lukemeyer earned her J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. She is admitted to practice in Indiana and before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Indiana, the U.S District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit.

Ms. Lukemeyer is active in a number of professional and community organizations. She is a Fellow of the American Board of Criminal Lawyers and on the Board of Governors for the ABCL; she is a past board member if the Indianapolis Bar Association and Indianapolis Bar Foundation. She is the past-president of the Indianapolis Inn of Courts, the of Lawyer's Club of Indianapolis and past-chair of the Indianapolis Bar Association's criminal justice section.  She has been a consistent speaker on topics involving crimial law and formerly taught Criminal Law for the Indianapolis Bar Associations Bar Review course. She has worked extensively with Teen Court of Reach for Youth and has engaged in study commissions for the betterment of the juvenile justice system.

Jennifer lives in the downtown area with her long time boyfriend and their German-Shorthaired Pointer, Winnie.
