Michael D. Devor

At Johnson Jensen Williams in Indianapolis, Indiana, Michael D. Devor represents injured plaintiffs in personal injury matters, including wrongful death, car accidents, truck accidents and nursing home abuse. He approaches each case with compassion and clarity, guiding clients through some of the most difficult periods of their lives.

Mr. Devor joined the firm in 2022 as a certified legal intern and law clerk while attending Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. The mentorship and hands-on experience he received there shaped his commitment to personal injury law. After earning his Juris Doctor and passing the bar examination, he was admitted to practice in 2024. In 2026, he was selected for the National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40, an invitation-only honor recognizing accomplished trial attorneys under the age of 40.

Before entering the legal profession, Mr. Devor worked in business development in the medical device industry. In that role, he developed organizational strategies aligned with regulatory requirements and streamlined FDA and state submission processes. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in marketing and operations/supply chain management from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, a foundation that gives him a strategic, results-oriented perspective in his legal work.

His dedication to clients is also informed by personal experience. Mr. Devor battled cancer while in law school and while preparing for the bar exam, and the experience gave him firsthand insight into the difficulty of balancing medical treatment with other major life events. That understanding reinforces his commitment to simplifying the legal process for the people he serves.

Mr. Devor is a member of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association and the Indianapolis Bar Association. He served as 2023 president of the Business Law Association at IU McKinney and is involved in the community through the Indianapolis Bar Foundation, the Indiana Legal Aid Society and the Business Professionals of America.
