Richard A. Mann is the founder and managing partner of Mann Law, P.C. From the firm's offices in Indianapolis, Indiana, he leads a team of attorneys and staff focused on providing top-level representation to clients throughout the state. Mr. Mann focuses his practice largely on family law, handling such matters as divorce, child custody and support, adoption, guardianship and same-sex couple issues.  Mr. Mann is a registered family law and civil mediator.  His practice includes collaborative family law. Mr. Mann's practice also includes estate and probate litigation as well as general business law and litigation.  Mr. Mann is also a parenting coordinator, Guardian ad Litem, and family law arbitrator.  He also is a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority Arbitrator.  

As an undergraduate, Mr. Mann received a Bachelor of Arts in sociology as well as a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice from Indiana University in 1976. He then went on to attend the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and was awarded a Juris Doctor in 1980.

Mr. Mann is a certified family law specialist through the Family Law Certification Board of the Indiana State Bar Association. He is also a registered civil and family law mediator and a trained family law arbitrator. Highly regarded by his fellow professionals, Mr. Mann has received an AV* rating through Martindale-Hubbell and a 10.0 "Superb" peer review rating through Avvo.

Admitted to practice in Indiana, Mr. Mann is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Indiana, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit, the United States Tax Court and the Supreme Court of the United States. An active participant in a variety of legal organizations, he is the past chair of the Family Law Section of the Indianapolis Bar Association.
