Ryan C. Fox concentrates his practice on employment and labor law matters, including administrative law, civil rights and constitutional law. Mr. Fox provides informed representation to clients throughout the Indianapolis area in government discrimination claims, non-compete clauses, wage disputes, whistleblower claims, and EEO claims. 

After graduating with a bachelor's degree in political science from Wittenberg University, Mr. Fox earned his Juris Doctor from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 1999. During law school, he worked at the state attorney general's office as a law clerk. Mr. Fox began his career at a an Indianapolis firm specializing in employment law, where he worked as a law clerk in 1998 before assuming consecutive positions as an associate, senior associate and junior partner.  Mr. Fox has extensive experience litigating on behalf of both employees and employers facing complex employment issues in state and federal court, including discrimination and harassment claims, contracts and covenants not to compete, wage and hour claims, whistleblower claims, EEO claims and EEOC charges. Mr. Fox has appeared in front of the Indiana Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He also speaks regularly on employment related issues. 

He has been admitted to practice in Indiana as well as before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.  He has received several honors, including an Order of Omega distinction as a student and an induction into the Order of Barristers.  

Well-respected for his broad-ranging knowledge in his field, Mr. Fox has conducted several continuing education courses and seminars on topics such as the practical application of employment law and ethics in labor law. He also contributed to the Indiana section of a survey on employment libel and privacy laws for the Media Law Resource Center in 2009. A dedicated member of the Employment & Labor Law Section of the Indiana State Bar Association, Mr. Fox  served as the co-chairman for the association's Distinguished Speaker Series from 2009-2016. In 2015-2016 Mr. Fox served as the Chair of the Indiana State Bar Association Employment, Labor & Benefit Law Section. 

In 2014 Mr. Fox co-founded the law firm Fox Williams & Sink.  At Fox Williams & Sink Mr. Fox serves clients statewide with a specific focus on representing employees.  Such practices areas include, but are not limited to, wrongful termination, non-compete issues, discrimination, sexual harassment, overtime compensation, and wage claims.
