Valerie Chatel Horvath

A compassionate and stalwart advocate for her clients, Valerie Horvath brings 25 years of experience to help them navigate contentious legal issues so they can spend time with their loved ones. At Deidra Haynes Law Office in Indianapolis Indiana, she helps clients in Marion County, Hamilton County, Johnson County, and central Indiana, in complex legal matters pertaining to family law, criminal defense and immigration law as well.

Ms. Horvath completed her undergraduate studies in 1991, graduating with her Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University, Bloomington. She went on to attend the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, graduating cum laude to establish her legal prowess, develope her her legal acumen, and set the legal foundations that still inform her to this day.  She obtained her license to practice law in Indiana in 1999.

Embracing the deep care she feels for people in general, Ms. Horvath combines that with her relentless work ethic and zealous representation, ensuring her clients get all aspects of venerable legal counsel. With prior experience working for the government of Indiana, including as Chief of Staff at the Indiana Department of Revenue, Deputy General Counsel of the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles and Master Commissioner of the Marion Superior Court, Ms. Horvath understands how her local judiciary operates, and she leverages her practical knowledge on behalf of her clients. Furthermore, within the Indianapolis Bar Association, she is a board member of the Government Family Section and chairs the Scholarship Committee.
