Vanessa López Aguilera

Assisting her clients through their most difficult times, Vanessa Lopez Aguilera has earned the reputation as a skilled attorney in the area of family law. Ms. Lopez serves the counties of Marion, Hendricks, Johnson, Hamilton, Boone, Morgan, and Monroe in Indiana. Is a graduate of the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. She is particularly experienced in stepparent and/or second parent adoptions, paternity, guardianships, child support, divorce,  and LGBTQ family issues.

Her achievements have been recognized by the legal community; Ms. Lopez was awarded the Top Attorneys Indiana's Outstanding Young Lawyers award in 2013 and 2022 and the Martindale-Hubbell* Client Distinction Award. Vanessa Lopez Aguilera is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, Latino Affairs Committee, Indianapolis Bar Association, American Bar Association, as well as a number of community and nonprofit groups.

She is a Domestic Relations Certified Mediator, Registered Civil Mediator, Certified Mediation Trainer and Trained Collaborative Law Professional, and arbitrator, a Parent coordinator and a guardian ad litem. These distinctions emphasize the specific qualification of Ms. Lopez to assist clients in many types of dispute resolution processes.
