Kimberly P. Peil

As a partner at the Hoeppner Wagner & Evans LLP in Merrillville, Indiana, attorney Kimberly P. Peil has been representing companies and individuals in Indiana and Illinois since 2010. She focuses her practice on a broad range of civil litigation, including employment discrimination claims, commercial disputes, complex buisness diputes, and personal injury law. Extending her practice throughout the states of Indiana and Illinois, she represents both individuals and businesses before state, federal and appellate courts.

In addition to advocating inside courtrooms, Ms. Peil also has experience appearing on behalf of her clients in administrative proceedings as well in both Indiana and Illinois. Ms. Peil has first chair jury experience and has sucessfully defended claims of employment discrimination, breach of non-competition agreements, envoronmental claims, and business contract disputes. On the plaintiff's side, in 2022, Ms. Peil recieved an award for the top 100 jury verdicts in Illinois.  

Ms. Peil graduated magna cum laude from Fontbonne University in 2006. Later, she graduated magna cum laude from the Cooley Law School in 2009 with a Juris Doctor degree and was senior associate editor for the law review. 

Soon after completing her law studies and getting licensed to practice in Indiana and Illinois, Ms. Peil joined Hoeppner Wagner & Evans LLP as an attorney. Active in the legal community, she maintains affiliations with several associations, including:
