Jonathan M. Young

The Law Office of Jonathan M. Young, P.C., is located in Newburgh, Indiana. The firm’s founder, Jonathan M. Young, handles business, high asset divorce and other family law matters in Evansville and throughout southern Indiana. He is experienced with all aspects of family law, including adoption, and is also knowledgeable with estate planning, criminal matters and other general civil litigation.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in political science from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, Mr. Young obtained a law degree from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. During law school, he gained valuable legal experience by handling various civil and criminal law matters for a private firm. He has been admitted to practice law in Indiana since 2006 and is also licensed before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.

Mr. Young’s additional legal experience includes clerking for a county judge and working as an attorney for the Indiana Department of Child Services, a role in which he handled matters involving child neglect and abuse. Since founding his own firm, he has been recognized by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys as one of the “top 10 family law attorneys under 40.”

Actively involved in the Indiana legal community, Mr. Young is a member of the Evansville Bar Association and the Indiana State Bar Association, and he serves as the president of the Warrick County Bar Association. He also served as the vice president of Historic Newburgh, Inc. and is presently counsel for the Warrick County Parks and Recreation Board.
