Collaborative Law is a voluntary dispute resolution process where the parties to a divorce agree to work together respectfully, honestly and in good faith to try to reach a mutually agreeable settlement, without going to court. The Collaborative Law model removes the court, which is inherent in the traditional model, offers support and legal expertise not present in the mediation model, and fully supports the concept of both parties working towards a solution initiated by what is effectively a do-it-yourself model. , 2021
