From his notable success advocating on behalf of personal injury victims and their families throughout northern Indiana and the nearby communities of southern Michigan, founding partner Daniel H. Pfeifer has helped make Pfeifer, Morgan & Stesiak one of the top personal injury practices in the region.
After graduating magna cum laude from Taylor University in 1975, Mr. Pfeifer attended The Law School at the University of Notre Dame, where he obtained his Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 1979. While in law school, he served as associate editor for the Notre Dame Legislative Journal and received recognition for his exceptional academic achievements.
He received his license to practice from the Indiana State Bar Association in 1979, and he is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, the Indiana Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is also board-certified as a civil trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.
As evidence of his success helping his clients recover the maximum amount possible for their injuries and losses, Mr. Pfeifer has earned membership into the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and in 2016, the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys voted him among the "10 Best" in Indiana for client satisfaction.
A consummate professional, Mr. Pfeifer is active in several professional legal organizations, including the American Bar Association and the Indiana State Bar Association, among others. He is also a member of the American Association for Justice President's Club and sits on the board of governors for the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association.
Recognized for his selfless service to his community, Mr. Pfeifer received the prestigious Sagamore of the Wabash award from the governor of Indiana, which is one of the highest honors bestowed upon private citizens for their distinguished service to the state. He is also very active with the Northern Diocese of Indiana Episcopal Church, serving in a number of leadership roles, including chancellor.
