Steven L. Langer is a seasoned legal advocate with the law firm of Langer & Langer, based in Valparaiso and Indianapolis, Indiana. With a focus on representing plaintiffs in cases of medical malpractice, vehicle accidents, wrongful death and intricate legal disputes, he brings more than 40 years of experience to the table.
Throughout his career, Mr. Langer has championed the cause of those seeking rightful compensation for injuries inflicted by negligent health care providers or others. His affiliations extend to the Indiana State Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the American Bar Association and the American College of Trial Lawyers.
Mr. Langer’s outstanding legal acumen and commitment have earned him numerous accolades. The National Trial Lawyers recognized him as one of the top 100 trial lawyers, and he was listed among The Best Lawyers in America from 2014 to 2019. On May 8, 2014, he took on the role of President of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association for a year, and on March 2, 2019, he was inducted as a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. - In 2011, I worked on 3 medical malpractice cases before the Indiana Supreme Court: the 1st case is fully briefed and awaiting decision (Howard Regional Hospital); the 2nd case is fully briefed; I participated in an oral argument in 6/11 (IDOI v. Everhart), awaiting decision; the 3rd case just entered appearance (Robertson v. B.O.). All work done pro bono as amicus for the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association.
