Jessie Cobb-Dennard

Jessie Cobb-Dennard is a Partner at The Northside Law Firm after joining the firm at the beginning of 2021. A Certified Family Law Specialist, as certified by the Family Law Certification Board, Jessie has dedicated and committed her career to serving clients when they are dealing with the most important aspects of their lives – their family and their money. She empathetically understands the emotional toll that this time takes on a client, and she allows her clients the opportunity to focus on themselves and their children while she navigates the legal challenges for them.

Having been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star for several years, Jessie has over a decade of experience in family law and has handled cases in both the trial and appellate courts in all areas of family law – dissolution, paternity, custody, parenting time, child support, adoptions, guardianships, grandparent visitation, prenuptial agreements, protective orders, and DCS/CHINS. In addition, she is also a Guardian Ad Litem, Parenting Coordinator, and Registered Domestic Relations Mediator.

Ms. Cobb-Dennard takes pride in maintaining relationships with and giving back to the people in her community. She provides services to those in need through the help of organizations such as the Kids’ Voice of Indiana and the Hamilton County GAL Program, she is an active member of the Westfield Rocks Referrals Group, and she is a board member and governance committee chair for Constructing Our Future, an organization that provides transitional housing and wrap-around services for formerly incarcerated women.

After receiving her Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University Bloomington, Ms. Cobb-Dennard earned her Juris Doctor with a graduate certificate in Advocacy Skills from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis. While there, she won the Gold Pro Bono Award for contributing over 200 hours of her time to the pro bono program.

Following law school, Ms. Cobb-Dennard cleared her bar examination and qualified to practice in all the state courts of Indiana. Additionally, she is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.

Ms. Cobb-Dennard takes pride in maintaining active relationships with the people in her community. She provides services to those in need through the help of organizations such as the Kids Voice of Indiana. She frequently appears as guardian ad litem and is a part of the Hamilton County Guardian Ad Litem (GAL)/Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Program. She also volunteers her time to organizations that impact her community, such as Constructing Our Future, a non-profit that helps secure housing and wrap-around services for formerly incarcerated women.
