  •   The first part of this Article provides a short introduction to Child Sexual Abuse (CSA), discusses possible definitions of CSA, and discusses the recognition of CSA as a societal problem. The second part of this Article examines current CSA laws and the case of Sakshi v. Union of India. In addition, this part focuses on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), Indian Constitution, Indian Penal Code of 1860, Goa Children's Act and its Amendments, and the Commissions for the Protection of Child Rights Act.
