Mr. Drew completed his undergraduate studies in 1984, graduating with his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from the University of Iowa. He went on to attend the Drake University Law School and received his Juris Doctor in 1988, and in the same year, he obtained his license to practice law in Iowa as well. Later, he became admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Iowa. 

A pillar of leadership within his legal community, Mr. Drew works relentlessly to get his clients the respite they deserve and the just compensation to cast out the dark shadow of their injuries that follow them wherever they go. Outside his law practice, Mr. Drew maintains close affiliations with organizations such as the Iowa Academy of Trial Attorneys and currently is the president of the Iowa Association for Justice. Furthermore, he has formerly served as president of the American Academy of ADR Attorneys and the American Board of Trial Advocates – Iowa Chapter.
