Austin T. Osborn began his legal career since 2016 as an associate attorney at Stucky and Fields before continuing with the firm as it became McCartney Stucky in 2018. Austin was named a partner at McCartney Stucky in 2021. His practice is dedicated to representing individuals and families who have experienced significant injuries or losses due to defective products or the negligence of others. He serves clients primarily in the Kansas City area and New York. Austin is licensed to practice in Kansas, Missouri and New York.
Mr. Osborn earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Pittsburg State University in 2013. During his time there, he was actively involved in student leadership, serving as the student body vice president. Additionally, he was a member of the Crimson Club, served on the University tuition council, acted as a university student ambassador and was honored as Pittsburg State’s Outstanding Senior Male of 2013.
After completing his undergraduate studies, Mr. Osborn pursued his Juris Doctorate at The University of Oklahoma College of Law, graduating in 2016. At OU, he continued his involvement in student leadership as a class representative and officer for the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. He also contributed to academic discourse as a member of the American Indian Law Review.
While attending law school, Mr. Osborn gained invaluable experience through internships with the Oklahoma Attorney General’s office and The University of Oklahoma Office of General Counsel. During his final two years at law school, he served as a senior law clerk for a prominent Kansas City firm, representing personal injury plaintiffs and victims of employment discrimination.
Mr. Osborn's dedication to justice has been evident throughout his career. Whether advocating for victims of motor vehicle accidents or addressing construction accidents and medical malpractice claims, he works tirelessly to protect his clients' rights and ensure they receive fair compensation for their suffering.

- On Monday January 22, 2024, an Ulster County jury returned a verdict in favor of an injured individual represented by McCartney Stucky attorneys Terry McCartney, Austin Osborn and Rhett Wallace along with Joel Robinson from the New York City firm Robinson Yablon Cooper & Bonfante. The injured plaintiff suffered a severe left eye injury in a single car accident that ultimately led to the removal of his injured eye. Following the crash, McCartney Stucky filed a product liability case against BMW alleging that the driver’s side airbag in the vehicle was defective and caused the plaintiff’s severe eye injury. After a two week trial, the Ulster County jury who heard the case agreed that the BMW airbag was defective and awarded the injured plaintiff $4.3 million in damages., 2024
- On March 22, 2024, a Bronx County jury returned a verdict in favor of an injured individual represented by McCartney Stucky attorneys Terry McCartney, Austin Osborn and Rhett Wallace. The injured plaintiff suffered severe lower leg injuries when the defective ladder he was using to paint his fire escape slipped out due to defects in the design of the ladder feet. Following the incident, McCartney Stucky filed a product liability case against Tricam Industries and Home Depot alleging that the ladder the client was using was defective and caused the plaintiff’s severe leg injuries. At trial, the Bronx County jury who heard the case agreed that the ladder was defective and awarded the injured plaintiff $4.25 million in damages., 2024
