Michael S. Mogenson is a skilled litigator with considerable legal experience. A partner at Mogenson & Branson, LLC, in Mission, Kansas, he handles personal injury, medical malpractice, DUI defense, wrongful death, criminal defense and general civil matters at the state, federal and appellate levels.
Cases handled by Mr. Mogenson include serious felonies, as well as DUI/DWI/OUI and smaller traffic violations. He has been a part of innumerable criminal trials over his more than 10 years of experience as both a defense attorney and a municipal prosecutor. He has successfully tried and won an administrative appeal case in Clay County and won several not-guilty verdicts.
At Baker University, Mr. Mogenson pursued his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. He secured his Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law. He is licensed to practice in Kansas (1999), Missouri, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, the Kansas Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas.

- Michael appeared with Ed Gillette, and argued a cause on Fourth Amendment search and seizure issues before the Kansas Court of Appeals. On May 5, 2012 the Kansas Court of Appeals issued a published decision (No. 106, 152) reversing the District Court and ordering that the case be remanded with direction to grant the motion to suppress the traffic stop which the District Court had previously denied., 2012
