Elizabeth Hill

Attorney Elizabeth Hill is the founder and owner of The Hill Law Firm, P.C., in Overland Park, Kansas. Nationally ranked as among the preeminent lawyers in the country, Ms. Hill has more than 33 years of total legal experience, and she focuses her practice primarily on divorce mediation, collaborative mediation and collaborative divorce.

Having started her own legal practice nearly 30 years ago, Ms. Hill has achieved significant success guiding her clients through the divorce process and helping them make the best-informed decisions regarding child custody and support, property division, and other related matters. An active member of Collaborative Practice Kansas City, she is fully committed to helping her clients resolve their issues and reach favorable agreements in a manner that is far more economical and less adversarial than traditional divorce litigation.

Ms. Hill obtained her Juris Doctor in 1987 from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. She is also active with The Missouri Bar and the Kansas Bar Association as well as the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association.

Outside her legal practice, Ms. Hill is also an accomplished equestrian and owner of Woodson Hill Equestrian Center. She also volunteers and serves as board member of Changing Leads Equine Rescue, and she is co-founder of Mending Reins.
