Gerald “Lee” Cross Jr. is a dedicated attorney who represents clients in Missouri and Kansas who have been hurt or injured. Named to The National Trial Lawyers’ Top 40 Under 40, he was also included by the American Society of Legal Advocates as one of the state’s Top 40 Under 40 Litigation lawyers in 2014. Throughout his career, he has worked extensively with farmers dealing with corn losses lawsuits against Syngenta. Lee has also worked against other polluters, chemical companies, manufacturers, and utilities around North America.
Admitted to practice in both Kansas and Missouri, Mr. Cross attended The University of Kansas, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2002. He then moved on to the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he graduated with a Juris Doctor in 2007. In 2010, The Public Justice Foundation named one of his teams as a Finalist for Trial Lawyers of the Year.
Mr. Cross is a member of the Kansas Bar Association, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, the American Bar Association, The Missouri Bar and the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, and CAOC. He has been on the Board of Governors for the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association and is chair of the Legacy of Justice Foundation, as well as a member of the Johnson County Bar Association and the American Association for Justice.
As a passionate member of his community, Mr. Cross is actively involved with a long list of organizations that work to improve the lives of those around them. These include JCCC, Sierra Club, numerous civic groups, farm organizations, The Institute for Kansas Forensic Examiners, the Asbury Children Center and the Asbury United Methodist Church.
