Stanley B. Bachman

Stanley B. Bachman is a founding member of Bachman Law Firm, LLC, in Overland Park, Kansas, where he represents businesses and individuals in a broad spectrum of business law and litigation matters, with a particular focus on construction law. His practice includes business and corporate law, LLC and corporate formation, contract review and negotiation, lease counsel, arbitration and mediation, construction-related claims including mechanic’s liens, extra work and change orders, as well as business litigation involving breach of contract and fraud. His approach to law is guided by a client-centered philosophy: to serve as a trusted advocate, providing practical and strategic guidance rooted in fairness, integrity and real-world experience.

Mr. Bachman earned his Bachelor of Science in construction science from Kansas State University, after which he gained extensive industry experience at J.E. Dunn Construction Company in Kansas City, working as a project engineer, estimator and project manager. He later earned his Master of Business Administration from Rockhurst University while continuing in the construction industry and eventually served as Vice President of Operations at Walton Construction. Following 18 years of successfully running his own construction company, he returned to law school at The University of Kansas School of Law to combine his professional experience with legal skills.

Admitted to practice in Missouri and Kansas state courts, Mr. Bachman is also licensed to practice in the United States District Courts for the Western District of Missouri, the United States District Courts for the District of Kansas and the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation Tribal Court. He is an active member of the American Bar Association, Kansas Bar Association, Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, Johnson County Bar Association and the Kansas City Chapter of the American Subcontractors Association. He is a Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America. His professional distinctions reflect his extensive knowledge, practical experience and dedication to his clients’ success.
