Kala A. Spigarelli

Kala A. Spigarelli is an attorney and the managing partner of The Spigarelli Law Firm in Pittsburg, Kansas. Ms. Spigarelli handles general civil litigation matters with a focus on personal injury law and has experience with cases involving automobile accidents, defective products, insurance claims, premises liability, professional negligence, workers’ compensation and wrongful death. She serves clients throughout southeast Kansas in Pittsburg, Coffeyville and all cities within and around Crawford and Montgomery counties.

Ms. Spigarelli became a licensed attorney in 1990 and has more than 25 years of experience. She is admitted in Kansas and Missouri, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas.

Over the course of her career, Ms. Spigarelli has earned a reputation as a highly skilled negotiator and litigator. She has been included on the list of the “top 100 trial lawyers” multiple years in a row by The National Trial Lawyers and also holds an AV Preeminent* peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

Outside of the office, Ms. Spigarelli stays involved in her legal community through membership in various professional organizations. She is a member of the Crawford County Bar Association, the Kansas Bar Association, the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice.

Ms. Spigarelli graduated cum laude from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in justice studies. She went on to earn her law degree from Washburn University School of Law, located in Topeka, Kansas. While attending law school, she was a member of the Washburn Law Journal from 1989 to 1990.
