Eric A. Morrison

Eric A. Morrison is the founder of Morrison Law LLC, located in Overland Park, Kansas. Representing clients throughout Johnson County, Kansas City and Overland Park, Mr. Morrison focuses his practice primarily on family law, including divorces, child custody, child and spousal support, and complex asset division. He also handles personal injury cases, DUI defense and estate planning.

As an undergraduate, Mr. Morrison attended The University of Kansas and received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1999. He then pursued his legal education at The University of Kansas School of Law and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 2002. 

After he graduated from law school, Mr. Morrison spent several years as an associate with boutique civil litigation firms, first in Overland Park and then in Kansas City, Missouri, where he gained significant case evaluation, development and courtroom experience before founding his current firm in 2010. Licensed to practice in Kansas and Missouri, he is also admitted before the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri and the Supreme Court of Missouri. 

Highly regarded by his fellow professionals, Mr. Morrison has received a "Superb" peer review rating through Avvo. In 2012, he was selected to The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40, an invitation-only organization that is comprised of the top civil plaintiff and criminal defense trial lawyers from each state who are under that age.
