Jon Voegeli

Jon Voegeli serves as an attorney at law at the Wichita-based law firm Slape & Howard in Kansas. Concentrating his practice on workers’ compensation and personal injury, it has been more than a decade since he got licensed to practice in Kansas.

Working with laborers and corporate employees, Mr. Voegeli is dedicated to helping his clients who have sustained injuries at their workplace obtain justice for their loss. He also aids deserving employees enforce their rights under Social Security Disability law. These include securing weekly benefits, authorizing medical expense coverage and recovery for his clients depending on the severity of the injury.

With regard to personal injury law, Mr. Voegeli caters to matters pertaining to dog bites, slip-and-fall accidents, medical malpractice and product liability. He is praised for his multitasking abilities and meticulous attention to detail in each case that he takes on, and he has won several cases and arguments throughout as testimony to his abilities.

Mr. Voegeli completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science with honors from the Wisconsin Lutheran College in 2004. Obtaining his master’s degree in American literature from Wichita State University, he went on to complete his doctorate in jurisprudence from the Washburn University School of Law in 2011. He commenced his professional journey as an associate at a private firm in Wichita and later served as a research assistant at the Office of the Kansas Securities Commissioner. Since then, he garnered practical knowledge in related fields from various sources and later joined Slape & Howard in 2012.

Apart from his routine legal practice, he engages in discussions with law practitioners across fields gaining deeper knowledge about the relevant topics in the legal landscape. He finds time to testify for the rights of injured workers in Kansas and is equally proficient in approaching legislative matters as well. He has imparted his knowledge on case law to his colleagues on several occasions, including the annual Kansas Workers Compensation Seminar.
