Attorney Profile

Attorney Michael A. Breen is the founder and owner of Mike Breen Attorney At Law, P.S.C, in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Representing the rights and entitlements of clients throughout Warren County and the surrounding areas, Mr. Breen focuses his practice solely on personal injury and wrongful death claims. He has achieved considerable success advocating on behalf of those who suffered an injury or loss as the result of someone else's negligence or wrongdoing.

Over the course of his more than 35 years in practice, Mr. Breen has recovered millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts for those adversely affected by motor vehicle accidents, brain injuries, defective products, nursing home abuse, dangerous property conditions, bad faith insurance claims and more. A former insurance defense attorney, he has a unique insight into the industry that helps him devise the most effective strategies possible to help his clients secure the full amount of compensation they deserve.

Realizing he found a greater reward in assisting plaintiff injury clients than large corporations, Mr. Breen established his private practice in 1991 with a mission to "deliver the very best service to clients during the difficult times in their lives, they need it and deserve it." Over the years, he has remained true to his mission, and he has affected positive changes in the lives of hundreds of individuals and families across his region suffering needlessly through no fault of their own.

In recognition for his professionalism and service, Mr. Breen has earned an AV Preeminent peer review rating* from Martindale-Hubbell as well as many other awards and honors from his peers. He has also received numerous testimonials and referrals from his satisfied clients.

Mr. Breen studied at Oxford University's Exeter College as an English-Speaking Union Scholar in 1979 before returning to the U.S. and completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Kentucky in 1980. He then returned to his alma mater and obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 1983. He is also a 1993 graduate of the American Trial Lawyer Association's Ultimate Trial Advocacy College, and he has maintained active involvement with the M.A.R. Program - Reformed Theological Seminary since 2004.

Mr. Breen is admitted to practice in Tennessee as well as Kentucky, and he holds his admission to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit. He is an active member of the American Bar Association, the Kentucky Academy of Trial Attorneys, the State Bar of Tennessee and the Kentucky Bar Association, among his other professional affiliations.
