Anne L. Gilday

For more than two decades, Anne has represented individuals and families who have suffered injuries or losses due to medical negligence, personal injury, nursing home neglect, defective products, and unsafe pharmaceutical drugs. She is widely respected for her ability to secure justice and accountability for her clients while navigating complex litigation with skill and compassion.

In addition to her work in the courtroom, Anne is an active leader in the legal community. She currently serves as President of the Southwest Ohio Trial Lawyers Association and as a Board Member of the Ohio Association for Justice. She is also a frequent speaker at legal seminars and professional conferences, where she shares her expertise on trial advocacy, medical negligence, and emerging issues in personal injury law. Through these leadership and speaking roles, Anne works to safeguard individuals’ constitutional rights and promote meaningful access to the civil justice system.

Anne earned her B.A. in Political Science from the College of Charleston in 2000 before attending Salmon P. Chase College of Law, where she proudly followed in her father’s footsteps to pursue a legal career. During law school, she clerked at The Lawrence Firm and, upon graduation, joined the firm as an attorney. She is licensed to practice law in both Ohio and Kentucky.

In representing clients, Ms. Gilday emphasizes a client-centered approach that addresses immediate needs and long-term care requirements alike. She pursues recovery for medical expenses, lost income and the noneconomic impacts of injury, taking on matters that range from nursing home neglect to complex mass-tort and pharmaceutical claims. Her casework is grounded in thorough investigation, meticulous causation analysis and strategic litigation when settlement does not serve a client’s interests. This practical focus helps families secure resources necessary for rehabilitation and stability.

Ms. Gilday’s leadership within legal associations reflects a commitment to preserving access to the civil justice system and to advocacy beyond individual files. Ms. Gilday is associated with the Ohio Association for Justice and the Southwest Ohio Trial Lawyers Association, participating in legislative and judicial outreach on behalf of injured consumers. She is also active in the Cincinnati Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association and the American Association for Justice. In 2019, she completed the Bolch Judicial Institute’s Mass-Tort MDL Certificate, deepening her familiarity with consolidated litigation procedures.

Ms. Gilday’s court admissions include Ohio, Kentucky, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Kentucky, and she attained admission to the Supreme Court of the United States in 2019. Rooted in the hands-on casework that began during her law clerkship, she continues to pursue accountability for clients harmed by negligence while contributing to efforts that protect civil remedies and the right to a fair hearing in the courthouse.

A Cincinnati native, Anne lives in Anderson Township with her husband and their dog, Remy. Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
