As a partner at Gatlin Voelker, PLLC, attorney Jack Gatlin represents clients in Cincinnati, Ohio, and northern Kentucky. His focus is on complex litigation, small-business law, criminal law, family law, and local government law.
Mr. Gatlin has extensive experience in dispute resolution and strategic business planning. Throughout his career, he served as lead attorney in many legal issues, including breach of fiduciary duty, business litigation, non-competes, construction litigation, commercial lease litigation, title disputes, real estate litigation, criminal defense, and fire and theft losses.
A native of suburban Detroit. Jack moved to Louisville, Kentucky while he was in high school. Jack studied accounting and earned a Bachelor of Science at the University of Kentucky in 1998. He then attended one year at the Michigan State College of Law before graduating from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2001. He is admitted to practice in both Ohio and Kentucky and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Kentucky.
As a result of Mr. Gatlin’s successful track record and high professional standards, he was rated AV Preeminent* through Martindale-Hubbell, the highest ranking offered by the organization. He currently has an Avvo “Superb” rating and a 10.0 Justia rating.
Mr. Gatlin is also actively involved with the Northern Kentucky Bar Association where he serves on the board of directors. Jack is committed to community service having served as the chairman of the board of trustees for the West End Real Estate Cooperative, Chairman of the Grant County Joint Industrial Development Authority, Board Member of the Grant County Tourism Commission, Board Member of the Dry Ridge Soup Kitchen, and is currently on the board of the Ryle Men's Lacrosse Boosters.
