Logan English

Based in Covington, Kentucky, Logan English is an associate at  Lawrence, Beirne & Lewis, who represents individuals and families affected by negligence in both clinical and everyday settings. His practice focuses on medical malpractice and personal injury matters, representing individuals and families harmed by negligence in both clinical and everyday settings.

A Lexington native, Mr. English completed a B.A. in history at the University of Kentucky in 2017 and earned his J.D. cum laude from Northern Kentucky University’s Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2021. Hired as a law clerk by the firm in 2019 while still in school, he brought both early legal training and years of client-facing experience from the service industry to his role. After passing the Kentucky Bar, he transitioned to an associate position and is now admitted to practice in Kentucky and Ohio. 

Driven by careful analysis and thorough preparation, Mr. English constructs cases that rely on clear fact development and thoughtful collaboration with medical professionals and investigators. He manages complex discovery, coordinates with consultants when appropriate, and maintains a focus on practical results that meet families’ immediate and long-term needs. When litigation is necessary, his approach emphasizes courtroom readiness and persuasive presentation without losing sight of the human realities clients face.

Academically inclined toward precise legal reasoning, Mr. English earned recognition at Chase College of Law through the dean’s list and a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in torts, accomplishments that reflect both consistent performance and mastery of foundational concepts. He applies those strengths to drafting pleadings, conducting legal research and preparing witnesses. The hands-on experience he gained during his clerkship and early years at the firm helped him translate classroom learning into effective case strategy and client advocacy.
