My oldest son was on the team the first year we started. During the school year we practiced 2-3 nights per week for the State competition in March. The practices run from 2-3 hours at a time. In September, 2017, we were able to take the team to the Yale Bulldog Mock Trial Tournament. Our team placed 5th (they only recognize the top 5 teams). Our team is three six years old. Our first year we placed 7th at State, then 3rd at State. I am also helped locally to revamp the Mock Trial Competition. For years in Kentucky it was run by the AOC. Then, Eastern Kentucky University took over the competition. A new organization was created, the Kentucky High School Mock Trial Association. As part of this, we now compete in regions.
