A 1989 cum laude graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, Mr. Massey obtained his Juris Doctor from Northern Kentucky University's Chase College of Law in 1992. He is admitted to practice in Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky, and the Southern and Northern Districts of Ohio and Indiana. He also holds admission to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th and 7th circuits as well as the U.S. Supreme Court. For Military cases he is licensed in the Army Court of Criminal Appeals; Navy Marine Corps Court of Criminal Appeals; Air Force Court of Criminal Appeals and the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces.  

Active in his legal community, Mr. Massey is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, the Ohio State and Indiana State Bar Associations, the Northern Kentucky Bar Association and the Kentucky Justice Association, and the Chase Inn of Court. He also supports his local community through his involvement with various school boards and the Kentucky PTA as well as with various other civic, charitable and educational organizations in his region including the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, Operation Honor, and the Advisory Board of the Herschel Woody Williams Foundation.
